Overview:
- Assure medical records (paper & electronic) are received, processed and scanned in a timely and accurate manner to support patient care, and the revenue management cycle.
- Perform a variety of technical and clerical functions in the HIM department in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Basic analytical skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal/communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: None
- Other: 1 year in an acute care medical records department or customer service role/industry preferred.
