- Drives and performs all aspects of the heavy volume, full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to interviewing, through offer and date of hire, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Operates as a Talent Advisor, partnering with business units and recruitment staff on a talent acquisition strategy while fostering an environment of shared ownership around talent outcomes.
- Anticipates and proactively communicates recruiting activity and status to stakeholders and senior leaders, including using talent acquisition metrics to show trends and productivity.
- Stays abreast of current relevant state and federal employment laws and latest developments in recruitment strategies, techniques, HR programs, technologies and compliance. Modifies systems and processes in response to changes in regulations.
- Leverages technology and tools to streamline the candidate qualification process and creates new programs to maximize candidate quality and quantity.
- Manages the talent acquisition budget and makes recommendations for effective spending.
- Demonstrates thought leadership and provides training and coaching to business leaders and recruitment team on topics related to Talent Acquisition.
- Works in coordination with the HCM Analyst to grade new or changing positions in the compensation evaluation software to ensure Mission Fed’s talent acquisition and compensation/rewards strategies are in alignment.
- Provides recommendations on potential changes to compensation/reward strategies based on candidate feedback, market insight, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Oversees and manages the work of direct reports, including recognition, timecards, monitoring performance expectations, and providing coaching as necessary.
- Encourages the ongoing development of the Talent Acquisition team, including mentoring and developing them on innovative talent acquisition strategies, best practices and passive candidate search and networking skills.
Here is what we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Two years of equivalent experience may substitute for every one year of education.
- Professional in HR (PHR or SPHR) certification or Talent Acquisition certificate is highly preferred.
- A minimum of five years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including leading a recruitment team, and strong candidate sourcing in the service industry is required.
- Experience sourcing financial services candidates including positions in technology, finance, lending, marketing, sales and customer service is highly preferred.
- Experience working within both Federal and California state rules and regulations is required, and experience recruiting for a mid-sized company (approximately 500 employees with multiple locations) is highly preferred.
- Excellent sourcing skills, including competence working with Indeed, LinkedIn, Google, ATS mining, and other common platforms.
- Expertise in passive sourcing techniques and building strong networks of potential candidate pools.
- Proven capability and demonstrated experience influencing, persuading, coaching, collaborating and communicating effectively with others. Must be able to influence senior leadership towards strategic initiatives.
- Microsoft Office Suite and Internet proficiency are required. A knowledge of Dayforce HCM ATS software and/or Compease Salary Administration are preferred.

Base Pay/Salary : $100,000 - $120,000 annually
The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
