Job Description:
Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Phlebotomy orders by assigned provider.
• Processing of specimens and sending to appropriate lab as patient insurance dictates
• Rooming patients timely for assigned provider.
• Documentation of appropriate tracking logs, i.e. labs sent, lab cleaning, exam room cleaning/restocking.
• Chart prep for assigned providers upcoming patients. (Goal: 5 days in advance)
• Conduct clinical huddles daily.
• Completion of tasks in assigned group inboxes.
• Greet patients utilizing professional customer services.
• Successful completion of annual competencies
Education/experience
• High school/GED diploma
• MA Diploma (Certification desired)
• Phlebotomy certification
• 2 years' experience in an outpatient setting
