Job Description Summary

You will act as the primary HR Partner for two Cleveland area sites that are critical to the GE HealthCare Imaging business. Provide day to day support for client group Leaders, and Colleagues on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, employee retention and engagement, site culture, and other HR processes and site activities.

You will provide dedicated guidance and coaching to the Magnetic Resonance (MR) coils engineering and integrated supply chain teams and the Molecular Imaging Computed Tomography (MICT) targets manufacturing site, including supporting multiple matrixed organizations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client leaders and colleagues to support and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly enable the Imaging business and ISC’s objectives.

  • Provide timely, effective, and direct coaching to leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills.

  • Provide strategic coaching to key talent in client group as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.

  • Embrace and actively engage the lean operating model, looking for more efficient ways to operate.

  • Drive efficiency and consistency across all functions within the site to improve the culture and employee engagement.

  • Lead and coach site leadership on HR processes including: Employee advocacy/engagement, Employee relations management, Performance management, Career development, Talent assessment, acquisition, and retention, and Workplace investigations as appropriate.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and HR Solutions teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, etc.) professionals to execute business and site-specific HR strategies.

  • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Conduct investigations including gathering, preserving, documenting and analyzing all available information and evidence, and in some circumstances, making recommendations to the business on disciplinary action.

  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.

  • Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance.

  • Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like Performance Development, People Review, Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation.

  • Drive People Leader excellence through training, intentional development planning, seeking and providing feedback and coaching to site leaders, roundtables, and team/leader assimilations, as needed.

  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.

  • Lead other site-wide and business-wide HR projects as necessary, working across multiple client groups.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Human Resources).

  • Minimum of 5 years professional work in the Human Resources function with client-facing responsibilities including employee/people leader development and performance management.

  • Some travel required for training purposes (less than 10% of the time); support of two locations requires on site presence at both.
