OPERATIONS LIAISON
OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Administration department through various finance, human resource, and office operation related tasks and projects. This position is fast paced and requires a significant amount of multi-tasking and independent project management skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Finance Departments
  • Assist with processing payroll and other payroll related reports
  • Cleanse and audit the monthly bank and credit card reconciliation reports
  • Assist with the day-to-day office operations and special projects
  • Perform various office functions, including but not limited to filing, scanning, and indexing documents into archival systems
  • Assist with maintaining the ADP HRIS system
  • Manage the internal ID badge access system
  • Assist with maintaining the fleet vehicle maintenance schedule and payment
  • Assist in preparing training and travel arrangements, and general office ordering
  • Assist with the recruiting and onboarding process
  • Retrieve and distribute the daily mail
  • Provide overall backup support to the Administration department
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or equivalent. A comparable amount of training and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualification
  • Minimum of two (2) years of office administration experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Extraordinary customer service skills with a high level of customer engagement
  • Exceptional project management skills to allow for timely planning, executing, and reporting on multiple projects at the same time
  • Proficiency with windows-based applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to gain knowledge of the operation, function, and scope of various county government offices, with the ability to communicate effectively with elected officials, administrators, professionals, and the public

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of computers, calculators, and other office equipment. Ability to navigate through Windows based and web browser applications. Ability to sit for long periods of time with use of both hands & fingers with dexterity. Maintain composure in stressful situations. Perform tasks utilizing data processing methods and systems. Express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing. Serve the public and fellow professionals with honesty and integrity. Ensure that sensitive information is dealt with in the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism and sensitivity.
