Join our team as a Manager of Outpatient Services!
The Manager of Outpatient Services is responsible for coordinating and managing services provided in the Outpatient Services continuum under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services. The Outpatient Services Manager directs, guides, and supervises the direct care activities of staff while maintaining an environment conducive to the highest quality of care and establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, goals, objectives, and standards that will improve the day-to-day operations. Reviews overall hospital quality performance goals and ensures objectives are met. This includes personnel oversight, providing ongoing Quality Improvement monitors, ensuring current standards are met, and ensuring that the skills and educational needs of the staff are met. The Manager is responsible for the quality of patient care. The Manager ensures that safe patient care is provided by qualified, competent patient care staff to all patients who present to the clinics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in compliance with State and JCAHO standards for young adult, adult, and older adult psychiatric and chemically dependent patients. Ensures program compliance with these standards.
  • Assesses quality of care by direct observation, chart review, review of patient questionnaires, and attendance at meetings where patient care is discussed.
  • Serves as a clinical and managerial resource person to staff in planning patient care in a manner that adheres to Ridgeview Institute Policies and Procedures and reflects knowledge of adult psychiatric and addictive disease principles and developmental milestones for young adults, adults, and older adults.
  • Researches programmatic inquiries, patient/family/ physician complaints, etc. Takes corrective action or refers to the appropriate authority for resolution.
  • Provides direct services in patient care when necessary for program coverage.
  • Holds regular staff meetings that are utilized for planning, teaching, and problem-solving. Assesses documentation and communication of critical issues discussed.
  • Participates in formulating policies, evaluating patient care needs, and the effectiveness of program staff in meeting these needs and making recommendations for changes to improve.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving abilities that reflect a knowledge of hospital and program policies, mental health development, and principles as applicable to young adult, adult, or older adult patient populations.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work Education, Nursing, or a related professional field.
License : Preferred Georgia State license in social work or clinical-related mental health field. MSW, APC, LPC, and LCSW are preferred.
Experience: At least five (5) years experience in health care administration, preferably in an acute psychiatric setting.
Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and state and federal regulatory standards.

Compensation:
This is a Full-Time, exempt role, and the expected compensation range is between $65,000.00 and $75,000.00. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. Join us as our Manager of Outpatient Services!
