Lead Roofer/Foreman

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Roofer/Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing 2-3 roofing projects per week, building a skilled crew, and training team members to handle 10-15 repair jobs and estimates weekly. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in various roofing techniques, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage roofing installations and repairs on residential and commercial properties.
• Oversee the fabrication and installation of roofing materials.
• Ensure that all roofs are installed to industry standards and are properly plumb and watertight.
• Organize and delegate tasks to crew members, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, masons, and electricians.
• Conduct trim carpentry and apply caulking/sealants to protect roofs from water damage.
• Train and mentor crew members, ensuring safety protocols and best practices are followed.
• Manage and complete 10-15 repair jobs and estimates weekly.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality work and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of roofing experience, with leadership or foreman experience preferred.
• Proven experience in metal stud framing and frame carpentry.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, fabrication techniques, and remodeling methods.
• Experience in masonry work is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Year round work
