About the Role
We’re searching for a skilled and enthusiastic VR/Unity Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating immersive and interactive simulations of surgical procedures using cutting-edge VR technology. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative directors, 3D artists, project managers, and clients to bring medical innovations to life. In many cases you will also be responsible for the 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and animating of the 3D assets.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop VR simulations of surgical procedures using Unity and C#.
- Optimize 3D models and animations for real-time performance.
- Perform light 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and animating of the 3D assets.
- Build and implement intuitive user interfaces for VR experiences from AdobeXD Prototypes and storyboards.
- Collaborate with 3D artists and project managers to ensure seamless integration of assets and functionality.
- Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and present solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest VR/AR technologies and trends.
What You’ll Bring / Qualifications:
- Proven experience developing VR applications with Unity and C#.
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics and optimization techniques.
- Solid 3D generalist skills
- Experience with VR hardware (e.g., Oculus, HTC Vive).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for creating engaging and immersive user experiences.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with mobile application development in Unity.
- Familiarity with the Meta Interaction SDK and Quest Devices
- Familiarity with 3D modeling/animation software (Maya and/or 3DS Max).
- Familiarity with texturing 3D models (Substance Designer / Painter or similar).
