Primary Responsibility: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Talent Development & Onboarding Specialist to manage our onboarding processes and facilitate continuous training for our employees. This role is crucial in enhancing employee engagement, skill development, and career growth within the global organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Onboarding Program Management:
    • Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
    • Collaborate with various departments to develop role-specific onboarding materials and training schedules.
    • Willingness to travel to other locations in order to facilitate necessary trainings.
    • Ability to run virtual trainings and engagement meetings using Microsoft Teams.
  2. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop ongoing training programs that align with organizational goals and employee career paths.
    • Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various topics, including soft skills, technical skills, and leadership development.
    • Work with Marketing in order to facilitate training videos and marketing-related training materials.
  3. Continuous Learning:
    • Create and promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging employees to pursue professional development opportunities.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
    • Ability to learn and work in all Microsoft Suite technologies (including but not limited to PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms and Publisher).
  4. Performance Support:
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees, assisting them in their career development and helping them achieve their professional goals.
    • Develop resources and tools to support employees in their ongoing learning journey.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with Peeps Team (HR) and department leaders to align training initiatives with organizational needs and employee feedback.
    • Maintain clear communication regarding training schedules, resources, and expectations with employees and management.
    • Create and maintain clear training and onboarding processes and standard operating procedures for the department and internal communication vessels (i.e. Company Intranet).
    • Assist Executive team with identified training and collaboration projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (preference to Education, Business Administration, or a training-related field).
  • Proven experience in talent development, training, or onboarding roles.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective training techniques.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated emotional maturity and intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels and from all backgrounds.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize human resources and learning management systems (HRMS / LMS) and other onboarding and training technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize Microsoft Office Suite.
