The Business Execution Lead supporting Loans Operations is a business office type function, who in order to be successful will face off and work closely with both cross-functional teams, and with the Business Head and their directs.
Responsibilities:
Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
Manage financial controls; budgets; headcount & attrition; people & location strategy; training requirements for the organization; and communication strategy.
Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional peers in preparation of townhalls; VOE (communications, roll out and reporting).
Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing.
Ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy in reporting processes.
Maintain accurate headcount, inventory real estate, and manage onboarding and termination of resources.
Make strategic decisions and advise seniors on these decisions.
Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in financial services, in a business office or business execution lead capacity.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders at a senior level is required.
Knowledge of the financial services and loans operations preferred.
Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures.
Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Master's degree preferred.
