Overview
The Recovery Coach is responsible for providing quality clinical and counseling services to the individuals who attend PROS. Recovery Coaches assist with admissions, assessments, group and individual therapy while working with the individuals on their caseload to move them forward on the life goals. Recovery Coaches work as part of an interdisciplinary team within PROS and may participate in committees, work groups and other partnerships external to the program.

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of PROS Program Management, Recovery Coach will be responsible for the coordination of care and treatment planning for the individuals who attend program. Recovery Coach shall perform the following duties: Assessment, Community Based Group Therapy, Intensive Counseling and Group Therapy. Recovery Coach should be team oriented, organized and able to work in a fast paced, structured environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health/Social Services Related Field (licensure preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness
- Valid New York Driver's License and meets the criteria to be an agency driver
