The Analyst is responsible for independently designing, coding and support of complex computer applications which increase Customer Service, quality, market share and decrease cost of UC Health. Provides efficient and effective code development. Works with users to define information flow, reports and data requirements. Writes specifications, develops and documents operational procedures, tests software and coordinates software installations. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience: Two or more years experience in programming or analysis in a PC, Client Server or mainframe environment required. Linux experience preferred. Experience as Epic ODBA preferred. Experience with HL7 and interface engines preferred. Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work in a team environment, good communication skills and the ability to work in a changing environment required. Ability to write shell scripts, cache object scripts, or other object based languages preferred.
