As a Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant , you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 to meet the business requirements of clients. You will engage directly with clients to gather requirements, configure the Dynamics 365 platform, and ensure successful deployment. Your role will focus on optimizing business processes and translating complex client needs into functional specifications and system configurations.


Responsibilities


  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
  • Lead workshops and client meetings to gather business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Dynamics best practices, business workflows, and configurations.
  • Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 to align with client business processes and goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design integrated solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Oversee functional design, data mapping, and workflows within the Dynamics environment.
  • Develop test plans and scripts to ensure the Dynamics solution functions as expected.
  • Assist in system testing, identifying issues, and providing resolution recommendations.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Create detailed solution documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Train end-users and client stakeholders on the configured system to ensure adoption and effective use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and data analysts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 features and updates, recommending improvements or new solutions for clients.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including configuration, customization, and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Finance and Operations, Sales, Customer Service, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
