Summary About the Position: Serves as a Funds Management Technician (Office Automation) with U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence located Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Responsibilities Prepares fund citation letters, maintain student information, and upload pertinent information into the General Fund Enterprise Business System. Compiles and summarizes cost estimate data with actual costs by querying databases, researching documentation, and resolving discrepancies. Assists analysts in preparing annual budget requirements by gathering and compiling data received from managers. Consolidates, organizes, and summarizes complex data for inclusion in the accounting system and in required status of funds reports from a variety of source documents. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing budgetary documents for compliance with regulations; preparing budget reports from statistical data; reconciling accounts in support of funding programs and budget planning; using automated systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and database software to develop methods for automating reports; applying rules and regulations to perform a full range of tasks involving budget and clerical support.
