The Clinical Education Specialist is responsible for leading the design and development of educational programs and activities to support the nursing organization. This role entails creating and implementing orientation and continuing education programs, evaluating educational outcomes, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have pediatric nursing experience, although candidates without pediatric experience will also be considered.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or Education with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- State licensure in Social Work
- BLS Certification
- Demonstrated clinical competency in nursing or allied health specialty
This role requires effective communication, leadership, and team-building skills, as well as the ability to develop collegial relationships and analyze documents. Previous experience in education program development and teaching is preferred.
