Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our People Operations team. This role will provide hands-on experience in recruiting, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will support the People Operations department in ensuring a positive experience for both prospective and current employees.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruiting:
  • Assist with job postings on various platforms and the company website.
  • Screen resumes and applications, and schedule interviews.
  • Support the coordination of candidate interviews and provide feedback.
  • Assist in maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS) with up-to-date candidate information.
  • Help manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of offer letters and onboarding materials.
  1. Benefits Administration:
  • Assist with the enrollment process for employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Support the maintenance of benefits records, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Help prepare materials and communication for open enrollment periods.
  1. Employee Engagement:
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events, such as team-building initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
  • Assist in the distribution and analysis of employee engagement surveys.
  • Help maintain internal communication channels (e.g., company newsletters, intranet updates).
  • Assist in gathering feedback and suggesting improvements for enhancing workplace culture.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in HR, particularly in recruiting, benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS is a plus.
