Who are we looking for…

Someone who is enthusiastic, sets themselves development goals and puts high energy into their role.

A strong analytical mind with the ability to engage stakeholders to drive process and culture from their product. The candidate would be an excellent organizer of their workload and outputs under AGILE guidelines and be able to prioritize and schedule around these guidelines. Strong competency in cognitive ability and fundamental understanding of data sourcing, modeling and visual presentation of said data.

Role Overview

The individual would need to be proficient in analytics theory and application whilst being able to communicate these changes to various personality types in an organization. They must have a passion for optimizing data and experience within the Microsoft stack in order to deliver user-friendly, effective platforms that drive the goals and objectives of the business.

Technical requirements would adhere to strong competency with PowerBI, with coding expertise in SQL and DAX. Experience working with Databricks, Fivetran, Azure and any other ETL tools is highly desirable.

What you will do

  1. Identifying corrupt data and removing it to provide integrity to all extracts and connections.
  2. Initial analysis to assess the quality of data.
  3. Determine the meaning of this data and communicate the best way to apply it to the whole hierarchy.
  4. Support the functional BI champions in the creation and prioritization of new/enhanced reporting.
  5. Provide final mile support/actions that are above the expected competency of the BI Champions.
  6. Automate/Schedule the refresh of queries, reporting and dashboards from manual application.
  7. Develop skills in Azure Tables, Power Apps, Power Automate to facilitate efficiencies in reporting.
  8. Service Desk Support for all relevant IT/Data incidents and requests raised through the portal.
  9. Explore more appropriate tools and processes for antiquated reporting and manual processes.
  10. Track labor cost, labor time, and subscriptive cost savings through all optimization/automation projects.
  11. Manage a case management system to keep tracking on all activities in the pipeline.

Candidate Profile

Skills & Qualifications

  1. College degree in a related field preferable.
  2. 2 years + experience with the Power Platform (BI, Automate, Query, Apps, etc) and Azure (DevOps, Data Factory, etc).
  3. Strong competence in Microsoft Stack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc).
  4. Ability to code using SQL, DAX.
  5. Working knowledge of Databricks highly desirable.

Special Requirements

  1. Occasional travel necessary to accommodate for global and regional meetings/workshops.
  2. Ability to occasionally join calls before/after traditional office hours.

Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 biweekly
