Job Description
Find your purpose as a Certified Medical Assistant at the CentraCare Pediatric Clinic, located at the Plaza. We provide comprehensive care for children and teens. The clinic consists of Same Day which is an acute walk-in clinic and a regular clinic that sees well child exams, mental health, and other brief office visits. The clinic team includes 20 providers and 25 + clinical staff. Many of the nurses/CMAs work one-on-one with providers while others are work on a team which supports a variety different providers and tasks.
As an CMA, you will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently.
Schedule
  • Full-time | 64 hours every 2 weeks
  • Monday-Friday shifts between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. and every 6th Saturday morning from 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • No evenings or holidays!
Pay and Benefits
  • Pay rate based on experience with a minimum rate of $18.90 per hour, higher with experience!

Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
    • Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
  • National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
  • Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA).
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
  • Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud, MN and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
