ANALYST
Moline Investment Management (MIM) | Moline Management, LLC is seeking an Analyst to
support its ongoing portfolio growth objectives. This transactions-oriented role supports MIM’s
acquisitions and asset activities. This analytically intensive role requires financial modeling
experience as well as a strong understanding and comfort working with financial concepts (i.e.,
IRR, NPV, cash on cash, equity multiple, bond math, etc.). A basic understanding of private
equity is extremely helpful, as is the ability to model General Partner/Limited Partner (GP/LP)
returns, splits and associated waterfall calculations. Training is available to promising
candidates with strong analytical ability and finance and/or mathematics backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
within targeted sectors.
o Analyze macroeconomic indicators and industry benchmarks to inform
investment strategies.
2. Financial Modeling:
o Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential acquisition targets
and investment opportunities.
o Perform sensitivity analysis to assess various scenarios and their impact on
investment performance.
3. Due Diligence:
o Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial
and operational
o Collaborate with Director of Asset Management and Senior Aquisition Analyst to
gather necessary information and documentation.
4. Portfolio Management:
o Monitor the performance of existing assets, including financial performance and
operational metrics.
o Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting
asset performance and potential improvements.
5. Investment Strategy Support:
o Assist in the development of investment strategies and recommendations based on
analysis and market insights.
o Support the execution of investment transactions and asset management
initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or
currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and
analysis.
• Knowledge of market research techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial softwareKey Competencies:
