The ideal candidate will meet most of the below requirements, but more than anything we are seeking a decent person looking to work on interesting matters in a positive, results-oriented environme nt. If hired, you will immediately receive real class action and arbitration experience handling hearings, taking depositions, drafting complaints and briefs, attending mediations, settling cases, and trying data privacy and cryptocurrency arbitrations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
- California Bar license preferred
- Federal-court litigation experience preferred
- Class action experience preferred
- Data privacy and cybersecurity litigation experience preferred
- FINRA, AAA, or JAMS forum experience preferred
- Excellent writing skills
- Big Law experience, a federal clerkship, or government experience (SEC/FTC/US attorneys’ office/state regulator) preferred
- Spanish fluency helpful
Responsibilities
- Handle federal-court class actions and consumer arbitrations from inception to conclusion
- Run your own cases
- Handle federal court and consumer arbitration hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Actively litigate federal-court data privacy and consumer protection class actions
