Supervisory Management and Program Analyst

This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Seattle Field Division. The position's primary purpose is to support the Business Operations Program (BOP) within the respective DEA Domestic Division. The incumbent will serve as the General Service Unit (GSU) Chief and will be responsible for managing and overseeing execution of Unit BOP level activities and functions.

Duties

Your typical work assignments may include:

  • Managing and overseeing the execution of Unit BOP level activities or functions pertaining to Administrative Support Services, Human Resource Management, Inspections or Internal controls, Security programs, Logistics, and Administrative functions related to task force management at the Division level and geographically dispersed locations (known as Outlying Offices).
  • Serving as an advisor and consultant on business process management, business operations, and administrative matters.
  • Executing and implementing at the Division level, operating policies, and procedures and directing the work to ensure the completion of mission and compliance.
  • Collaborating and implementing future short and long-range plans in support of the Division's and GSU's goals and objectives.
  • Providing mentoring as a cornerstone to the career development program.
Salary
  • $136,832 - $177,885/year

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of the announcement. If you are qualifying based on education or if there are mandatory education requirements listed below, you MUST submit a copy of your college transcripts with your application.

Applicants applying for the GS-14 must meet the following requirements:

Have at least one full year of specialized experience that is at least equivalent to work performed at the GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations.

Qualifying experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the business operations activities and functions of an office related to at least two of the following programs: Administrative Support Services, Human Resource Management, Inspections and Internal Controls, Security, Logistics, and Task Force Management; 2) Planning, including tracking and reporting on accomplishments of program goals and milestones; 3) Providing technical direction to subordinate employees; 4) Resolving complex issues; and 5) Assessing efficiency of programs through studies and data analysis.

Time-In-Grade Requirement
