Job DescriptionThe Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a member of the executive leadership team. The CNO is responsible for the administrative management of all direct Patient Care Service departments of the hospital district. This includes overall planning, managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of patient care and developing effective relationships within the hospital and with outside organizations. Includes 24-hour responsibility for all patient care units. Supervision occurs directly and indirectly through the Nursing Managers and on-duty House Supervisors.
QualificationsWhat is required...
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of some education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
- Current CPR card (maintenance required)
- Five years recent nursing management experience with at least three years in an acute care setting
What is preferred...
- Master's degree in nursing field
- Previous experience as a member of the senior leadership team in a healthcare setting
Wage: Wage range starts at $186,077/year to $301,246/year. Actual wage will be determined based on previous years' of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week; Exempt
