IT Specialist Summary
AHI in Waynesboro, VA is adding a IT Specialist to their team. The primary duty is to support end users with hardware and multiple software systems. The position will be responsible for configuring PC systems, installing software and patches, and configuration of peripheral devices. The position will also assist the IT Director with administering servers, networks, and backup devices. Occasional travel is required. This is NOT a remote position.
IT Specialist Essential Responsibilities:

• Supporting end users with hardware and multiple software systems
• Configuration of PC systems including installation of patches and configuration of peripheral devices
• Assisting IT Director
• Occasional travel - typically travel will be within Virginia and will not require overnight stays. However, travel to Pennsylvania or Tennessee and overnight stays may be required.

IT Specialist Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred but not required
• Experience administering VMWare and/or Hyper-V
• Experience administering Windows Servers and Active Directory
• Experience administering TCP/IP networks
• Strong communication skills
• Work well with end users
• Database experience is a plus
• Programming experience is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
• SCADA experience is a plus
