The opportunity
The Associate Investment Analyst will join the US Core Value Equity team in Boston, working closely with existing Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts, and Client Service professionals to deliver a proprietary suite of long-term, long-only, actively managed equity strategies. The successful candidate will contribute across the full range of team responsibilities, including investment analysis, macro analysis, data management and reporting, portfolio monitoring, client service, ESG integration, special projects, firm-level collaborations, and beyond, with clear opportunity for advancement if objectives are met. "Can do" attitude, passion for investing, and willingness to execute the team's fundamental, intrinsic value investment process are essential.
Responsibilities
  • Learn and implement the team's intrinsic value investment process in support of delivering differentiated strategies to a mix of retail and institutional clients. Over time and subject to needs of the team, potential to assume primary responsibility for a coverage universe.
  • Build and maintain proprietary models and reports in support of team portfolio needs, including bottom-up equity analysis, investment universe monitoring, and portfolio management.
  • Support the team's existing Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts, and Client Service professionals in execution of their responsibilities.
What we are looking for
  • Current undergraduate student to begin full-time employment spring/summer 2025.
  • Bachelor's degree required by start of employment.
  • Basic Excel proficiency required. Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, etc. helpful, but training expected.
  • Sound analytic foundation to execute detailed fundamental research.
  • Probabilistic approach to problem solving with imperfect information.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills to collaborate on projects and communicate deliverables.
  • Intellectual curiosity in the world around you, in addition to business, economics, etc., to facilitate a culture of ongoing learning and improvement.
  • Sense of judgment, self-discipline, and integrity to prioritize responsibilities, manage time, and deliver results in an ethical, professional manner.

Salary range is expected to be between
$74,000.00 USD - $124,000.00 USD
