Vice President – Strategic Sales, Mexico

Reports To: President of Mexico Operations

Location: Major US Metro Area, preferably Chicago, IL or Texas

Environment: Remote

Status: Exempt; Salaried

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:

As a Vice President – Strategic Sales, Mexico working within Redwood Multimodal (one of our entities),you will be responsible to secure, develop and retain profitable business from customers with commercial shipping needs in and out of the US-Mexico border, and to oversee the sales team in Redwood Mexico’s location(s).

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Directly prospect, pursue and close Mexico Cross Border business with prospective customers.
  • Support US Sales team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by promoting Redwood Mexico services
  • Support our HR staff in sales talent acquisition
  • Work with our Enterprise Sales team to cross-sell all Redwood services outside of the brokerage
  • Design and execution of integrated Mexico Cross border solutions
  • Develop strong relationships with profiled customers to offer services that meet/exceed customer needs
  • Develop and secure accounts that will contribute to the achievement of Redwood Mexico Net Revenue goals

You’ve Got This?

  • Minimum 10 years demonstrated sales management performance in freight brokerage or third party logistics environment
  • Understands dynamics of pricing models within the logistics industry; keeps current on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Leads by example and uses influence to achieve desired results
  • Processes strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of organization
  • Demonstrated presentation skills with decision-makers at small, medium and large sized businesses
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish language required
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
