Meet Dallas Trinity FC
Dallas Trinity FC is one of 8 Inaugural Teams in the newly formed USL Super League - A Division 1 Professional Women's Soccer League playing in: Brooklyn, Charlotte, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Lexington, Spokane, Tampa, DC starting August 2024. Dallas Trinity FC is the first ever division 1 professional women's team to play in a North Texas, the largest market in the country for youth soccer in the USA and the future host to a record 9 FIFA Men's World Cup matches in the summer of 2026.
Position Description
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading, developing and executing brand marketing strategies and activations. Specifically working with the USL internal departments, including but not limited to the USL marketing communications department, external agencies, sponsorship and ticketing sales teams, marketing partners, and spearhead all the advertising, event marketing, game day experiences, and promotional campaigns for the club. This position will report to the Club President.

Position Description
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading, developing and executing brand marketing strategies and activations. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing strategies and action plans to achieve increased brand awareness, annual ticket and merchandise sales goals, and strategic brand partnerships
- Develop and manage a direct-to-fan communication strategy, including fan journeys, email marketing, social, mobile marketing, website CX and engagement, and other communication channels.
- Manages game presentation and works closely with operations staff to ensure all consumer-facing marketing and brand elements are presented appropriately
- Leading, managing, and creating a plan for the entire marketing staff (Traditional Media, Social Media, PR)
- Provide direction to the USL internal content, video, and creative teams on the creation of breakthrough storytelling that informs, educates, and drives game attendance/sales & overall positioning as a fan destination
- Leverage key women's soccer moments, initiatives, and developments (e.g., Olympics) that align with overall messaging and objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create campaigns focused on both growing the new Season Ticket Member base, retention, group, advance, theme, and walk up tickets
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotional campaigns which include may include TV, radio, print, social and digital marketing in an effort to ultimately drive sales and increase brand affinity
- Maintains consistent oversight and awareness of campaign results and proactively take corrective action, as needed, to optimize results
- Develop and implement paid media programs to drive marketing efforts.
- Monitor, analyze and communicate marketing efforts and results.
- Oversee assigned staff, budgets, programs, and projects, as required.
- Evaluates market trends and adjust strategies to adapt to the changing market and competitive conditions
- Be a liaison with ticketing, Partnership Sales and Partnership Marketing teams to ensure the organization's partners are supporting sales through internal and external partner distribution channels
- Collaborates with senior management to ensure all creative assets properly reflect the brand and are consistent with marketing and sales objectives
- Works with the USL and all other departments to ensure cross-platform execution
- Collaboratively support community initiatives
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and the brand's competing strengths, weaknesses and market position
- Develops and motivate team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Ability to lead a team within a fast-paced environment and deliver amidst demanding timelines
- Strong time-management and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced professional environment, work under agile, fluid deadlines and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Experience leading marketing and media agencies
- Extensive understanding of creative production processes, and experience in developing digital and social creative solutions
- Strong problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills
- Demonstrated understanding of how marketing, creative and media work seamlessly to help brands succeed
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Independent, self-motivated and creative
- Exceptional creative abilities; looking to push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas.
- Ability to operate within a budget and project/forecast marketing program costs based on industry and historical data.
- Knowledge and experience of/in grassroots marketing and live events.
- Familiarity with event trends and technology, sports and popular culture.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency a plus.
- Able to work game nights, weekends and non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.
- Ability to foster relationships and build partnerships with vendors, Club partners, and third parties.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must. Must have a "team-first" mentality with an eagerness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint )
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in marketing, sports, entertainment, advertising agency or media industries with a strong concentration in marketing strategies, as well as, live events and grassroots/field marketing.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with media agency to coordinate delivering creative assets in accordance with media plans
- Minimum of 2-4 years of direct supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree required - Advanced degree a plus
