YOUR IMPACT
The Vice President, Franchise Group Fitness at Crunch Fitness will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic vision and execution of our legendary group fitness program. This role requires a dynamic and innovative leader who can elevate the member experience, enhance franchisee satisfaction, and ensure that Crunch Fitness remains a leader in the fitness industry. The VP will work closely with franchise owners, corporate leadership, and the group fitness team to create and implement programs that align with Crunch's brand and business goals.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for group fitness, ensuring alignment with Crunch Fitness’s overall business objectives.
- Lead the creation and deployment of innovative group fitness programs that attract and retain members.
- Ensure that all group fitness programs reflect Crunch's unique brand identity and culture and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Franchise Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees regarding group fitness operations, providing guidance and support to optimize performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners and understand their needs and challenges in order to offer tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular assessments of group fitness programming to ensure consistency and quality across all locations.
- Program Development:
- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of new group fitness programs, including class offerings, schedules, and instructor training.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote group fitness programs, driving member engagement and participation.
- Deeply understand member and industry trends in group fitness to anticipate future needs.
- Implement new technologies and trends in group fitness to keep Crunch at the forefront of the industry.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regional group fitness managers and instructors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and innovation from the group fitness teams.
- Develop impactful training programs that enable instructors to be trained to the highest standards, reflecting the Crunch Fitness brand and values.
- Performance Management:
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics related to group fitness participation, member satisfaction, and franchisee profitability.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about program adjustments and new initiatives.
- Develop and manage the group fitness budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Maintain consistency in the delivery of group fitness programs across all franchise locations, upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Fitness Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior experience in fitness or related industry.
- Valid ACE, AFAA and NASM certification.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful group fitness strategies in a multi-location environment.
- Strong understanding of franchise operations and the unique challenges faced by franchisees.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to drive business decisions.
- Ability to travel frequently to support franchise locations. 50%+ Travel.
