Our client, an insurance company, is seeking a contract procurement manager for a 3-month project.


$50 Pay


100% Remote


The ideal candidate for the Contract Manager role will possess strong procurement and commercial contracting experience, with a specialized focus on the Information Technology sector, with a preference for experience in the telecommunications sector. This should include proficiency in procuring SaaS, IT infrastructure, platforms, and software licensing along with a preference for proficiency in network infrastructure, and telecom managed services. The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of key contract terms, varied pricing models, and performance metrics associated with these services. Crucially, the candidate will have substantial experience in drafting, negotiating, and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This includes crafting detailed, custom SLAs, negotiating vital parameters with vendors, and conducting regular SLA reviews to ensure agreements remain aligned with business needs and industry standards.


Key Skills

• Deep understanding of technology procurement contracts which include SaaS, on premises solutions, and a preference would be telecommunications infrastructures. While telecom is preferred, technology experience is a must which should also include knowledge and understanding of service level agreements (SLAs).

• Ability to work independently and flexible while still navigating within policies and procedures.

• Great (verbal and written) communication skills including managing internal and external relationships.

• Knowledge of contract management tools and the ability to learn new tools and solutions for the contract management life cycle.

• Experienced in negotiating business terms including pricing.

• Proficient in extracting, summarizing and simplifying complex information from contracts for management and stakeholders.
