The Role:


As a Contracts Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our organization's success, playing a pivotal role in shaping our contractual relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll have the chance to showcase your skills in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and mitigate the company’s risk exposure.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts or combination of Juris Doctor + minimum 2 years’ work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate various bodies of laws (e.g., contracts, intellectual property) and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and EAR) under the General Counsel’s direction.
  • Proven experience managing government and/or commercial contracts, including form contracts, NDAs, license agreements, release agreements, MSAs, SOWs, termination notices, contract amendments, and purchase orders.
  • Extensive understanding of one or more of the following: technology licensing, supplier administration, supply chain, purchasing, material management, price/cost analysis and/or production control principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience managing contracts related to the sale of commercial items to government entities to include federal and international buyers
  • Understanding of international government acquisition regulations for the Canadian Space Agency, United Kingdom/UK Space Agency, or European Space Agency
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: space, technology, cyber security, SaaS, emerging technology, U.S. federal and/or foreign governments
