Senior Manager, Business Performance Insights - Hotels.com
The Traveler Business Team aims to deliver the most convenient, rewarding, and memorable ways for people to travel. This division is responsible for driving the growth of our global consumer business across our brands.
We are looking for a Business Performance Insights Senior Manager to join Hotels.com. This role will generate actionable performance insights for Hotels.com, which has a fiercely loyal customer base.
What you'll do:
- Create business performance insights in partnership with Finance, Supply, and Analytics teams.
- Translate complex performance insights into actionable insights.
- Generate opportunity sizing for new initiatives.
- Dive deep into key performance metrics to identify root causes of performance issues.
- Contribute performance insights for business reviews.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Business Management, Economics) or MBA preferred; or equivalent in related professional experience.
- 8+ years of business management, e-commerce, economics, or finance experience.
- Experience in an analytical, strategic planning, or project management role in consulting, financial services, or e-commerce.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of working with incomplete data.
- Passion for using data to drive better decision-making.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Innately curious and skilled at uncovering issues while seeing the big picture.
- Strong communicator who achieves results through influencing others.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau preferred.
