ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:

San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) envisions a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV. POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are searching for a Recruiter to join our People & Culture Team. The Recruiter will partner with stakeholders in our People Operations teams and hiring managers from all other divisions at San Francisco AIDS Foundation to create and implement recruiting activities and contribute to the design of a Talent Acquisition Pipeline.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversee, evaluate and continuously improve SFAF’s recruiting practices.
  2. Create and implement recruitment plans with Hiring Managers and other relevant stakeholders.
  3. Write compelling job postings that will attract appropriate candidates and post the jobs online to facilitate sourcing.
  4. Maintain a structured approach to identify which open roles the recruiter can support with active sourcing and candidate searches.
  5. Assess incoming resumes and screen potential candidates.
  6. Design, implement, and manage all phone screen and interview processes including maintaining records, coaching hiring managers, interviewers and candidates, develop questions.
  7. Design, implement, and manage candidate assessment and selection processes.
  8. Oversee the management of recruiting information systems including applicant tracing systems and record retention.
  9. Make offers and partner with colleagues on the People Operations team to have a strong hand off to begin the onboarding of new hires.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience with calendar scheduling in Outlook.
  2. Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone).
  3. Knowledge of candidate management systems.
  4. Experience using Google Suite products, and project management platforms like Asana.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and with a team.
  8. Strong leadership skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTS:
Skill in operating equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine and telephone system. Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of work in Recruiting or Sales required.
  3. Experience with LGBTQ communities, people who use drugs, BIPOC communities highly regarded.
  4. Experience working with non-profit organizations, and community health services organizations.

This position will have access to protected health information (PHI) and may only access, use or disclose the minimum information necessary to perform their designated role on behalf of San Francisco AIDS Foundation, regardless of the extent of access provided.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is primarily located at 1035 Market Street and will require work on-site at least 3 times per week. To support recruiting activities, the position will occasionally require traveling to other office locations or off-site meetings as required by the job.
