What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven Expertise: 10+ years of experience in the US construction industry, with a strong focus on management or leadership roles.
  • Business Development Leadership: Demonstrated experience in driving business growth, sales, and client relations, particularly in the US construction market.
  • Operational Acumen: Extensive experience managing large, complex projects, with a proven track record of ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, and quality.
  • Leadership Excellence: Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams, while driving accountability and results.
  • Strategic Thinker: A visionary leader with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, while aligning operational efforts with strategic business goals.
  • Industry Network: Extensive contacts and relationships within the US construction industry.

Your Role at Steelcon:

As General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and growing our US operations by overseeing both business development and operational functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development & Sales: Drive new business opportunities by leveraging your network and identifying growth sectors, ensuring a healthy pipeline of projects.
  • Client and Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the successful execution of projects by leading cross-functional teams, optimizing performance, and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic leadership to guide our US expansion, aligning business development efforts with project execution and overall company goals.
