Welder - Night ShiftNight Shift 3:30 pm - 2:00 am Mon - Th. (Fridays Off)*PLUS Shift Differential Pay of $2.50ResponsibilitiesTig welding 90% and mig welding 10% using multiple types of materials (steel, galvanized, and a range of stainless)Properly set up welding machinesPreparation before Welding: 70% consists of ripping and trimming various specs of wire belts.Clean welds to check for imperfections.Accuracy with alignment, dimensions, materials, number of components, and general inspection requirements of metal chain drive belts.Accurate interpretation of work orders and collaboration with co-workers and QA associates.Work within the parameters of an estimate and work order.Wire crimping and machine operating. Training will be provided.QualificationsOne-year certificate from college or technical school. or three to six months of related experience and/or training. or equivalent combination of education and experience.A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred but not requiredAbility to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions, read and interpretAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to speak effectively and present information in small groups of fellow AssociatesReasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
