The Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure services. This role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive hands-on experience in cloud environments, particularly Azure, and a passion for working collaboratively in a team setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure IaaS solutions to support application deployment and infrastructure needs.
- DevOps Practices: Utilize Azure DevOps to streamline development, build, and release processes, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
- Active Directory Administration: Administer and manage Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security policies.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of cloud services. Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner, leveraging strong problem-solving skills.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest Azure features and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments, ideally with a strong focus on Azure.
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Extensive experience with Azure IaaS solutions and services.
- Strong experience administering Azure Active Directory, including managing users and roles.
- Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
