Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversee the U.S. Capital Markets philanthropic strategy; and management of Capital Markets' participation in the Client Foundation USA, a joint Foundation entity with Wealth Management.
- Manage the ongoing programs and administrative functions of the Foundation, including budget oversight
- Manage disaster relief funding in partnership with Enterprise, Wealth Management and City National Bank
- Manage mental well-being / equitable prosperity nonprofit partnerships
- Support the Senior Associate on the management of the Foundation's Donations Committee to ensure that the strategic objectives are being attained and are in line with the giving strategy
- Act as an executive steward for the Donations Committee, support the Senior Associate in providing succinct and streamlined communications to executive members
Corporate Citizenship
- Support the Senior Associate and Associate on budget management
- Support the Senior Associate and Associate on all charitable contributions for U.S. Capital Markets, including charitable business sponsorships, gift matching and employee fundraising
Other
- Collaborate with Corporate Citizenship counterparts in Canada, the UK, and EMEA, as well as Enterprise, City National Bank, and Wealth Management
- In partnership with Client's agency partner, lead external citizenship communications work; support Associate on internal communications
- Support team on all other initiatives including: monthly required reporting; and events such as Cycle for Survival, Charity Day for the Kids, Celebration of Impact, and quarterly all-staff programs
Must have skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Enterprise, Business, Marketing or Communications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Corporate Citizenship space
- Previous experience and proven track record leading philanthropic or corporate citizenship giving strategies for large, multinational corporate organizations or non-profit organizations
- Previous experience and a strong aptitude for streamlining complex information into succinct and simplified frameworks to be presented regularly to internal stakeholders and senior executives
- Previous experience managing personnel or a team
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience managing large, philanthropic budgets
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and public speaking/presenting
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure, corporate environment while maintaining a high attention to detail
- Fully proficient in all MS Office tools, SmartSimple and Benevity platforms
Nice to have skills:
- Previous experience creating communication campaigns
- MBA or MPA in ESG, Social Impact, Business, Marketing or Communications (or a related field)
