We currently have an exciting opportunity within the Central Plains Region for a Regional Director of HVAC Sales. This position is located in Lenexa, KS and will cover Kansas and Missouri.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing Sales team in the CE Central Plains Region and drive the sales of HVAC residential equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Responsible for sales/margin, revenue, and market share based on a defined plan that is reviewed quarterly.
- Develop and implement market strategies aimed at driving growth across all product lines.
- Motivate, manage, and mentor a team of Territory Sales Managers to achieve monthly sales and performance objectives.
- Develop and manage ongoing sales training and education programs for the sales team.
- Partner with company regional leadership to devise and deploy sales objectives and goals for the assigned market sales team.
- Develop sales growth plans, identify business development opportunities, and manage margins with the sales team.
- Cultivate relationships with key customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Act as an advocate for the leadership team, the CE Central Plains Region, and Carrier Enterprise.
- Develop strong working relationships within the HVAC industry and Distribution.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) with a minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience.
Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Minimum 10 plus years of experience in sales, sales management, and solid technical experience.
- Strong leader with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for sales.
- Previous experience in a sales leadership capacity preferably within the HVAC or distribution industry.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Deep domain knowledge of the HVAC marketplace with an emphasis on the Kansas and Missouri markets.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed (overnight travel requirements between 20% - 30%).
- Strong executive leadership presence and business acumen.
- Self-starter with excellent presentation, phone, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
