Location : Western United States (Remote)

What you’ll do for us (big picture):

Our Comnet business unit provides secure communications and networking solutions, including industrial-grade Ethernet switches, network extenders, media converters, edge computing, video storage appliances, and remote network management. We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead sales and business development in the western U.S. and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing sales within existing accounts and securing new business.

Specifically, you’ll focus on the following:

  1. Promote the full portfolio of Comnet products and solutions to named systems integrators, partners, and end users both remotely and onsite.
  2. Identify sales and project opportunities, create quotes, and maintain a sales pipeline that meets sales objectives.
  3. Manage sales activities and forecasts using the company’s CRM system and tools.
  4. Attend trade shows and specific account-requested events.
  5. Cultivate customer relationships to increase the share of spend of Comnet solutions within their facility/facilities.
  6. Network with Comnet distribution and manufacturer rep partners to increase accounts coverage and improve customer satisfaction.
  7. Create weekly and monthly reports as directed by leadership.
  8. Accurately forecast sales opportunities.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

  1. Minimum of five years’ experience selling technology solutions. Preferably in a security, communications networking, or information technology systems company.
  2. Ability to prioritize and focus activities to attain assigned sales targets.
  3. Comfortable working in a global organization with a top-down functional structure.
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  5. Working knowledge of Power Point, Excel, and CRM systems.
  6. Experience in multilevel selling.
