As a HVAC Technician for our Apartment Community, you will be an integral part of our team
focusing primarily on repairs and maintenance of HVAC equipment throughout Jersey City.
Duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units for residential customers
- Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations
- Clearly & professionally communicate to your supervisor what the current issues are and explain what is necessary to correct them.
- Accurately document all equipment repairs: make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and take pictures, as necessary.
- Identify and report to your supervisor, potential opportunities for preventative maintenance and any deficiencies you may see.mn.
Requirements For Experienced HVAC Technicians
- EPA Certification
- 2+ years of experience (Preferably residential and some commercial)
- Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
- Clean criminal background (no felonies)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
Pay Range: $35-$50/hourly on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
