Title: Commercial Account Manager (Underwriter)

$85,000 - $95,000 annual salary (DOE)

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of commercial insurance products and services, including applications, lender coordination, underwriting, procurement, inspections, and loss recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, both small and large.
  • Oversee the underwriting process for new and renewal business.
  • Track and manage policies to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Reduce risks and maintain strong relationships with underwriters.
  • Utilize financial and property management software to support insurance operations.
  • Serve as the in-house insurance expert, reporting directly to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial insurance, underwriting, or risk management.
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Stable work history with a focus on Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial/business insurance products and services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in the property management industry is highly desired.
