Title: Commercial Account Manager (Underwriter)
$85,000 - $95,000 annual salary (DOE)
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of commercial insurance products and services, including applications, lender coordination, underwriting, procurement, inspections, and loss recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, both small and large.
- Oversee the underwriting process for new and renewal business.
- Track and manage policies to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Reduce risks and maintain strong relationships with underwriters.
- Utilize financial and property management software to support insurance operations.
- Serve as the in-house insurance expert, reporting directly to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial insurance, underwriting, or risk management.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Stable work history with a focus on Property & Casualty Insurance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial/business insurance products and services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent technical and analytical skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience in the property management industry is highly desired.
