Your Missions:
Location: Lenexa, KS

Job Summary and Purpose:
The Campus Project Director will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring various aspects of Vaccine Manufacturing project(s) with specific focus/experience for aseptic manufacturing technique. The incumbent will be a key member of the Campus Executive Leadership Team and will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

The responsibilities of the Campus Project Director will include the design, build, validation, approval, and start-up of a new Marek's vaccine manufacturing building. This building is aimed to bring automation and robotic technology to the Ceva Lenexa campus while increasing our overall manufacturing capacity for Marek's vaccines.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    *Run the project portfolio according to strategic objectives. Is responsible for portfolio execution and alignment with the strategy of the organization.
    *Select, prioritize and coordinate projects as a portfolio to increase value to the organization.
    *Participate in improving project management and portfolio management processes and best practices.
    *Develop project plans, set goals, and determine tasks and schedules.
    *Monitor project progress and ensure completion within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
    *Accountable for project success across multiple facets (cost, schedule, scope).
  2. Cross-Functional Team Management:
    *Assemble and manage project teams.
    *Lead and motivate the project teams. Maintain a strong relationship with project members by regularly aligning the team about portfolio decisions.
  3. Decision-Making and Communication:
    *Make effective decisions when faced with multiple options.
    *Serve as a point of contact for teams working on the same project.
    *Communicate with executives or boards to align the project with organizational goals.
  4. Compliance and Adaptability:
    *Align with the functional leaders to ensure full compliance with all Quality, Regulatory, and HSE standards.
    *Ensure change control procedures are in place to allow any changes being made to have full compliance approvals by the various functional leaders.
    *Adjust schedules and targets as needed based on project changes and unforeseen complications.

Technical / Functional Competencies:
*Technical Project Management - Adapt with discernment & execute project methodology to ensure project objectives can be met efficiently in the right sequence within project constraints (time, budget, quality, etc.) on large & strategic projects and programs. Define & challenge project frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and SCRUM throughout a large & strategic project's/programs lifecycle.
*Business Knowledge - Knowledgeable in the area(s) applicable to the project/program domain - products/processes/data/tool.
*Cross-Functional Team Management - Experienced in building & leading team(s) of people with different skill sets towards a common goal.
