AECOM is seeking a Senior Federal Medical Planner to join our global practice. This role will focus on the design and planning of complex healthcare environments, across the full spectrum of care sites from academic medical centers to ambulatory care clinics within both the Federal and private sectors. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where a diverse group of architects, interior designers, medical planners and specialists collaborate as a team from concept design through construction.
For decades AECOM has worked with the Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) clients to define design standards, execute task orders, and serve as a known and trusted partner. AECOM is proud to provide world-class A/E design services in support healthcare delivery for our active duty and veteran populations.
AECOM has partnered with government agencies at the Federal, State, and Municipal levels for over 100 years. We provide comprehensive infrastructure, facilities, energy, environment, disaster resilience and civil works services for our clients’ most challenging projects. Our industry-leading design, planning, architecture, engineering, program management and construction management teams are focused on exceptional client service and flawless execution. At the federal level, we maintain a variety of service agreements for work with various government agencies across the country. From upgrading civil, first responder, national parks, and defense infrastructure to completing site remediation, we design and implement infrastructure solutions that provide value today and for future generations.
In your new role, you will:
Lead medical planning for our most complex healthcare projects
Lead master plans, visioning, and programming efforts
Grow the practice: develop and execute new and existing client relationships through a deep understanding of client enterprise and needs
Work closely with the leadership to continually identify and generate business opportunities
Ability to effectively participate in Clinical User Group meetings and client presentations
Proven ability to collaborate with other Medical Planners, Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction
Advance AECOM’s reputation through conference presentations, journal articles and social media communication
Have proven success in planning and developing new projects as well as the ability to motivate and inspire teams, both internally and externally.
