About the Role

As the Demand Analyst , you will find a challenging opportunity producing high-quality products that will serve leading companies in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, sustainable energy production, medical equipment and food safety. You will report to the Director of Supply Chain - Demand, Vice President of Supply Chain, and COO. Working within our constructive culture as the Supply Chain Analyst you will advance and develop your autonomy, mastery and purpose, through coaching and leadership provided by your team leader.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer forecasting models for Watlow's products, to identify and respond to business trends, ensuring that Watlow is prepared to serve the needs of our most important customers.
  • Utilize historical data, statistical models and market analysis to predict future customer demand. Measure and improve forecast accuracy against business metrics
  • Utilize forecast models to predict future enterprise needs for resources, materials, and equipment.
  • Justify enterprise investments based on forecast models and forecast accuracy.
  • Improve and optimize Watlow's capacity planning and material purchasing systems through the application of forecasting trends.
  • Identify inefficient or underperforming Supply Chain processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure inventory levels and processes are optimized to support Operations at required product lead times while ensuring adequate inventory turns.
  • Collaborate with customer facing teams, product management, and operations teams to develop a consensus demand forecasts for particular customers or products.
  • Work closely with other departments such as procurement, production, and sales to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.
  • Assess and communicate to the enterprise the risk of forecast actions or inactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, and/or equivalent experience (5-8 years) in supply chain or operations/manufacturing

Desired Qualifications

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Customer facing skills and experience desirable.
  • Proficiency using demand planning software, ERP systems (Oracle Fusion desired), Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools
  • Demonstrates capabilities in material management, MRP, pull systems, flow, and the implementation of lean concepts
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage simultaneous projects
  • Ability to think critically and analytically
  • Open minded and committed to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Adaptability and flexibility to rapidly-changing business requirements
