SUMMARY:
The Market Analyst is responsible for researching and collecting data related to marketing campaigns and promotions. This person is responsible for identifying target audiences, preparing scenarios about the potential success of campaigns, tracking and forecasting marketing trends, and analyzing the return on marketing dollars. The Market Analyst must understand consumer behavior and be familiar with a variety of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures and be able to rely on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use a data driven approach to access campaign success, develop and track KPI metrics, and optimize future campaign tactics
  • Identify target audiences, analyze market trends, and choose effective digital channels and tactics to reach new and potential members
  • Assist with assessing return on marketing dollars for all marketing campaigns
  • Optimize website content and structure to improve search engine rankings. This involves keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and monitoring search engine algorithm changes
  • Create and implement email marketing journeys for members across various verticals
  • Analyze campaign performance to inform ongoing lead gen strategies and target segments
  • Uncover opportunities and efficiencies within current dataset analysis
  • Complete all industry and required regulatory training, including BSA training
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM tools and API integrations
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and journeys
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Ability to analyze data
ADDITIONAL/IMPORTANT SKILLSETS:
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and perform under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate effective, professional communication (both written and verbal) with others in the organization, including the executive leadership team
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated-must be able to work comfortably in both group and individual settings
  • Knowledge of the credit union industry and its products and services a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. All employees must be able to communicate face to face or through technology with or without reasonable accommodation. Employee will be in an office environment (well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned) typically stationed at a desk or table. Employee will be asked to sit and stand for various increments of time, and to lift/push up 10 lbs. Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required. All positions that have lending responsibilities must comply with all requirements under the SAFE ACT, as well as the Credit Union's policies and procedures related to the SAFE ACT. This includes an obligation on the employee's part to ensure that NMLA registration pertaining to the SAFE ACT is kept current. The employee must notify the Credit Union within 30 days of any changes that need to be reflected on the NMLS registry.
