JOB OVERVIEW
At Sunrise, our Executive Director will be responsible for providing comprehensive leadership for a premier senior living community in goal setting, operational management, and long-term growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere.
  2. Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and wellbeing.
  3. Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships.
  4. Have direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a top-notch team.
  5. Have direct responsibility for the financial management and regulatory compliance of the community.
  6. Lead the Sales and Marketing process, in order to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.

Qualifications:

  1. Passion for working with Seniors.
  2. College degree and administrators license/certification per state requirements.
  3. Prior General Manager, Executive Director or Administrator experience within the health care industry preferred.
  4. Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures as necessary.
  5. Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses of at least $1M annually.
  6. Previous sales or business development experience preferred.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations.
  8. Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
  9. Schedule flexibility to work one weekend day a week, evenings as necessary and serving on-call.
  10. Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new applications.
