In addition to receiving up to 11 paid holidays, employees can earn up to 33 days of PTO each year, with the opportunity to start using PTO following hire date.CompensationBachelor's Degree: $19.50 - $21.59 per hourMaster's Degree: $21.30 - $23.38 per hourOffers based on education and years of relevant experienceProfessional Development OpportunitiesGateway Longview has a strong investment in developing the future leaders of the organization through trainings, advancement opportunities, and a formal leadership pipeline.Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:Provide emotional & behavioral management, problem behavior analysis, support the development of interpersonal & social independence and restore stability.Provide clients and their families with goal-directed community based services and solution-focused interventions intended to address challenges associated with a behavioral health need and to achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the client’s treatment plan.Provide all identified services within the context of the child and family environment; this is likely to include the child’s home, school or preferred community location. Telehealth services offered as appropriate and aligned with regulatory and program procedures.Provide rehabilitative psychoeducation to the client/family so as to identify strategies or treatment options with the goal of minimizing the negative effects of symptoms, disturbances and stressors.Assist the child/family with identifying strengths, needs, resources, and natural supports to address and minimize their functional deficits.Provide rehabilitative support to minimize the negative effects of behavioral health symptoms by focusing on life safety skills, basic safety practices and physical and behavioral health care.Work collaboratively with the child and family system of care which could include, Behavioral health clinic, Residential, Foster Care, Preventive services, Health Homes, Care Coordination, school districts, and primary care physicians.Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings, scheduled supervision, adhere to all program procedures including understanding and meeting Productivity ExpectationsComplete progress notes via Electronic Clinical Record (ECR) within 24 hours of service provision.Will meet productivity expectations.Understand and adhere to Gateway's Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics, providing professional and meaningful interventions and interactions.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust have excellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to multi-task and be detail orientedAbility to work independently and be an enthusiastic team playerMust have a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential informationModel and display high ethical standardsFlexibility to work evenings and weekends to provide crisis support as neededAbility to work effectively with clients, staff, families, and community contactsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience providing supportive services to children/ adolescents and their families.Master’s degree in human services with a minimum of 1 year experienceValid New York State driver’s license and adequate auto insurance coverageAn EEO/AA AgencyWe want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
