Database Engineer – Virginia – Hybrid
A Nationally recognised brand is looking to expand the award-winning Engineering team by adding a Database Engineer. This position will allow you to not only be an Engineer, but one that is valued, working towards achieving the wider team’s goal.

Requirements
- Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server database administration, from design to performance tuning and everything in between.
- Creative engineering experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS, SQL Server, IIS, and clustering.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, VBScript, WMI, or Perl, and the creativity to leverage these tools in unique ways.
- A working knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization systems, with Cisco, NetApp, and VMware experience preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases and hybrid solutions, always seeking new ways to enhance and innovate.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCITP, MCTS, or MCDBA are a plus, but a creative approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to innovate are just as valuable.
