Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Network Automation Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 500 company based in the greater Connecticut area. As a Network Automation Engineer, you'll contribute to automating network engineering and operations, reducing manual tasks, and enhancing the efficiency of IT infrastructure.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with network engineers to devise innovative solutions, build REST APIs using Python, and integrate automated testing into the build pipeline.
• Work within an Agile framework, participating in Scrum ceremonies and contributing to process improvements.
• Develop and document standards, designs, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years of Python development experience.
• 3+ years of solid DevOps experience.
• Expertise in network automation with Python and four years' experience with Django & Django Rest Framework.
• Solid experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins), Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration management software.
• Proficient in Linux (especially RedHat) in an enterprise production environment.
• Strong background in Git, REST, SOAP API integrations, and modern web technologies (Angular/TypeScript).
• Experience with Agile development, code versioning tools, and web application testing.
