This System Director of Facilities opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. This position will provide administrative oversight and direction to Northern Nevada Health System facilities for engineering, maintenance, security, grounds, EOC, EM and Safety programs. Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and local agencies, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc. Manages staff and contractors to ensure and maintain the efficient and safe operation of all health system buildings and equipment. job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains, and reviews all departmental and regulatory policies, procedures and plant operations manuals.
- Updates the Statement of Conditions and life safety plans with current information and building changes.
- All required permits, licenses, and certificates of operation are up to date.
- Administers & implements the preventive maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted operation of the entire physical plant and equipment with completion rates greater than 90%.

Qualifications
Regulatory Requirements:
- Minimum of ten years supervisory experience in maintenance management or facility engineering.
- Minimum of three years of management experience in a multi-facility or health system
- Experienced in performing facility physical surveys and conducting building evaluations,
- Knowledge of NFPA life safety codes and standards, Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSHA, EPA and state and local codes and standards.
- Working knowledge in all aspects of building trades, mechanical systems, life safety, medical equipment, hazardous materials and waste, utility systems, and total building systems associated with the health care industry.
- Experience and successful record of accomplishment with project management.
- Certification in a technical trade or field related to facility maintenance and/or engineering or bachelor's degree in a related field is required, master's degree preferred.
- Healthcare Facility Manager Certification or has the ability to obtain within one year is required.
- Valid driver's license in State of Nevada is required.
