Travel Nurse (RN) ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Will work every other weekend
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

• IL License
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• IV insulin protocols experience
• Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience
• Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. 
• Required IV therapy Skills/Experience: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. 
• Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. 
• Required Respiratory/Thoracic Case Skills/Experience: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management. 
• Required Professional Topics and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac. 
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH 
• Cerner experience preferred

• Will float as needed.
• Ratios/Daily Caseload: 1:2 ratio for all shifts. 4 bed ICU.
• First-timers accepted
• Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.

If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
