POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior HR Service Center Specialist is responsible for providing advanced HR support and guidance to employees and management on various HR-related matters. They will manage employee inquiries and transactions related to HR policies and programs, including benefits, compensation, and employee relations. They will also sit down with employees to answer benefits questions, provide guidance on open enrollment, and address HR concerns to ensure a positive employee experience. The Senior HR Service Center Specialist will work closely with the HR team to support a positive employee experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Manage employee inquiries and transactions related to HR policies and programs, including benefits, compensation, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Conduct intake and assessment of employee requests, including eligibility determination and required documentation.
  • Coordinate HR-related communications between employees, managers, and third-party vendors.
  • Review and approve HR-related transactions in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide training and support to junior HR Service Center associates on HR-related topics.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on HR-related systems and technology, including HRIS and case management tools.
  • Monitor HR-related trends and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Work with Payroll to resolve payroll issues and discrepancies.
  • Sit down with employees to answer benefits questions, provide guidance on open enrollment, address HR concerns, and ensure a positive employee experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a Senior HR Service Center Associate or similar role.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of HR-related topics, including employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, and employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Experience leading HR initiatives and projects.
  • SHRM-SCP or other HR certification preferred.
